I study romantic relationships for a living and I´m currently working as a researcher (postdoc) at the University of Basel in Switzerland. My research focuses on cultural and sexual aspects of relationships and I want to understand how to successfully maintain happy and stable relationships. I´m very passionate about my research and I seem to have an endless curiosity about intimate relationships.
Besides my research I also offer couple therapy based on emotionally focused couple therapy (EFT). This is one of the very few evidence-based couple therapy approaches where multiple studies demonstrated the efficacy of EFT. Couple therapy often grounds me in my research and reminds me of what is really relevant for couples and their relationship.
